Our Sunday morning worship immediately follows our Sunday School classes and is a time for all of our teenagers and adults to corporately worship. The beginning of worship is filled with music – a blended mix of both classic hymns and modern praise and worship. We love to sing, and our worship usually consists of several congregational songs as well as a choir special and some kind of special music from a smaller group or solo. We also use this time to worship the Lord in tithes and offerings; we feel that this time of giving allows us to worship our Creator by gratefully giving a portion of what He has provided to us. Most of our morning worship consists of a time of preaching from God’s Word. Our Pastor spends much of our corporate worship time exhorting and encouraging us from various texts. We desire to receive the preached message not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God (1 Thessalonians 2:13).
